Since 2018, SIXT Always Yes, through New Kopel Car Import, is the sole importer of BYD electric buses in Romania. In 2024, New Kopel Car Import has signed a Framework Agreement with the Municipality of Bacău for the supply of 48 electric buses of 12 m, 48 slow charging stations and 16 fast charging stations. It is the most important tender won in 2024 by New Kopel Car Import after those in Constanța (20 buses), Buzău (9 buses) and Cluj Airport (one electric bus, specially designed for airport services to transfer passengers between terminals and aircraft), the last one being a national first.
